Mobile Maintenance Expert (Mining)

Nordgold is looking for an Mobile maintenance expert for our mine. Mobile maintenance expert will be responsible for the quality development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the repair of mining equipment (open pit and underground).

We are looking for candidates with extensive knowledge in the field of servicing, repair and diagnostics of the technical condition of mining equipment (excavators, drilling rigs, dump trucks, loaders, bulldozers and other auxiliary equipment).

Key responsibilities:
-Analytical work - development of scoring models for evaluating operations , identifying evaluation criteria, preparing a complete list of operations, evaluating operations taking into account the selected criteria.
-Development of standard operating procedures (SOP): independent development of paper and video SOPs according to established templates. --Coordination and approval of developed SOPs with specialists and the head of the Equipment Repair Department.
-Participation in Kaizen teams to analyze operations performed in the current manner as a repair expert.
-Training in SOP development all interested parties: Nordgold specialists and personnel of contractors.
-Quality control of developed SOPs by Nordgold specialists and personnel of contractors.

Qualifications:
-Experience in the field of installation, testing, maintenance and repair of mining equipment manufactured by SANDVIK , EPIROC , CATERPILLAR , KOMATSU , VOLVO or similar.
-Deep knowledge of installation, testing, maintenance and repair methods of various types of mining equipment (dump trucks, drilling rigs (including exploratory drilling), loaders, auxiliary equipment).
-Deep knowledge of the structure, operating principle, diagnostics and troubleshooting of components and systems of mining equipment (internal combustion engines, transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical).
