Manager Accounting (Finance)

What you will do

• Lead the month-end close process, including account reconciliations and the preparation of financial statements.
• Supervise daily activities and performance of General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Payable (AP) staff.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure strict SOX compliance.
• Drive SAP S/4HANA initiatives, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-go-live stabilization.
• Act as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors, coordinating documentation and audit requests.
• Collaborate with FP&A and manufacturing finance teams to ensure data quality and accurate inventory reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid capacity in Middletown, DE.
• Strong proficiency in US GAAP; knowledge of IFRS is preferred.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA or a similar enterprise ERP system.
• English proficiency (read, write, and understand) is required.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Proficiency in Mandarin.
• Experience with LucaNet, Qlikview, and Hyperion.
