What you will do

• Develop backend platform services and internal libraries using Go and Python.
• Design and operate systems for authentication, public key infrastructure (PKI), and secure data storage and transit.
• Provision and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP for reliability and performance.
• Manage microservices in Kubernetes and implement GitOps workflows using Terraform and Helm.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, GitHub Actions) and observability solutions (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver compliant, production-ready platform capabilities.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Go.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Helm) and modern CI/CD delivery practices.
• Must be based in New York, NY.

Nice to have

• Experience with PKI, encryption, mTLS, or security-focused infrastructure.
• Familiarity with GitOps tools such as Flux or ArgoCD.
• Experience integrating AI tooling (e.g., MCP servers) into production environments.
• Exposure to compliance-focused systems like PCI, SOC 2, or ISO.
