Salary: $134,500 – $168,000 base

What you will do
- Lead the design and architecture of firmware for embedded systems, including bootloaders and hardware abstraction layers (HAL).
- Develop high-quality, optimized code in C, C++, and assembly for microcontrollers, processors, and SoCs.
- Debug hardware-firmware interactions using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG tools.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate firmware into complex systems.
- Optimize firmware for power consumption, memory usage, and energy efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 8+ years of experience in embedded systems development, with at least 4-5 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and assembly language programming for embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of hardware design, including circuit diagrams, data sheets, and schematics.
- Experience with version control (Git), continuous integration, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Must be based in or able to work at the Lakewood, CO office.
