Salary: $125,000 - $155,000

What you will do

• Design, code, unit test, and debug embedded applications using C and C++.
• Integrate firmware with microcontrollers, digital signal processors, and various peripherals (SPI, I2C, UART, USB).
• Work with wireless technologies including BLE, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Cellular.
• Read PCB schematics and perform system debugging using EE laboratory equipment.
• Conduct code reviews and apply secure coding standards to ensure high-quality firmware.
• Collaborate on system integration and verification activities to support volume production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• 1-3+ years of professional experience in firmware engineering.
• Proficiency in C and C++ for embedded Linux or RTOS environments.
• Experience with ARM processors and peripheral configuration.
• Ability to read PCB schematics and use laboratory equipment like oscilloscopes.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in Brisbane, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with Buildroot, Yocto, or Zephyr RTOS.
• Experience with Git, Jira, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Background in test-driven development.
