What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable Generative AI (GAI) solutions to improve content metadata quality.
• Establish technical best practices for MLOps, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, and model evaluation.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, data scientists, and infrastructure engineers to translate requirements into production-ready systems.
• Implement data-driven methods and A/B testing to optimize the efficiency and scalability of AI models.
• Research emerging AI technologies and frameworks to drive technical innovation within AI Labs.
• Integrate ethical AI principles and compliance standards into the design of all AI products.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development, data science, or ML engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with generative AI, machine learning, or data products.
• Expert proficiency in Python and experience creating functional prototypes.
• Deep understanding of LLMs, RAG, vector databases, embeddings, fine-tuning, and model evaluation.
• Familiarity with MCP servers and agentic workflows.
• Must reside in D.C., MD, or VA and work from the Washington, D.C. office at least 2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience building highly scalable, production-grade AI/ML pipelines.
• Proficiency with AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), MLFlow, and Vertex AI.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Background working within media organizations and understanding media delivery systems.
