Salary: $170,000 – $200,000

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and delivery of production AI systems, including IDP and agentic orchestration.
• Own AI projects end-to-end from problem scoping and stakeholder alignment through deployment and monitoring.
• Drive technical design and architectural standards for API design, system decomposition, and infrastructure patterns.
• Architect and champion robust evaluation frameworks and statistically sound metrics for AI systems.
• Partner with Product, Operations, and Legal teams to translate requirements into technical plans.
• Mentor and develop engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience developing production AI/ML systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with AWS or cloud-native AI/ML workloads.
• Deep expertise in LLM-based systems, document intelligence, or ML system design.
• Experience designing and operating end-to-end MLOps pipelines in production.
• Must be based in New York, NY for the required hybrid office presence.
• Strong communication skills for managing cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in financial services or FinTech.
• Familiarity with agentic architectures and protocols such as MCP and A2A.
• Knowledge of cost and latency optimization for LLM inference (quantization, batching).
• Contributions to open-source projects or published technical writing in applied AI.
