TL;DR

Director Of Customer Success (AI): Building and scaling an AI-native Customer Success function to drive NRR through strategic renewals and expansions with an accent on AI-driven operational efficiency. Focus on designing automated workflows for risk scoring and account planning, managing high-value enterprise partnerships, and scaling the CSM team.

Location: Hybrid in Austin, Texas; candidates must be based in Austin or open to relocating to Austin

What you will do

  • Own the NRR target end-to-end, covering renewals, expansions, and at-risk account recovery.
  • Lead and develop a team of 5–6+ CSMs and Account Managers as a player-coach.
  • Design and implement AI-driven workflows to reshape CS operations, including account planning and renewal risk scoring.
  • Manage executive QBRs and personally lead save plays for the largest strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Marketing to optimize feedback loops and customer storytelling.
  • Establish customer health and forecasting systems to provide a 90-day forward view of renewal risks.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of owning multi-million-dollar renewal and expansion targets.
  • Experience rebuilding Customer Success workflows using AI or automation.
  • Experience managing and developing a professional CSM team.
  • Credibility and experience engaging with VP-level enterprise stakeholders.
  • Must be based in Austin, Texas, or open to relocating to Austin.
