What you will do
- Own AI governance intake and ensure proper security and risk reviews.
- Facilitate governance committee reviews and drive decisions to resolution.
- Build and maintain the operational infrastructure of the AI program, including documentation, audit trails, and escalation pathways.
- Operationalize evaluations, labeling, and monitoring to serve various stakeholders.
- Own training and enablement to help non-technical teams understand AI capabilities and governance.
- Coordinate with Security/Privacy on vendor risk, BAAs, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Deep engagement with the AI ecosystem and current on recent AI tooling/innovation.
- Technical foundation in software engineering or security engineering.
- Program management experience in regulated, high-trust environments (security, privacy, compliance).
- Excellent cross-functional facilitation skills to drive decisions across stakeholders.
- Operational rigor with documentation, artifacts, audit trails, and process improvement.
- Ability to translate AI controls into practical team workflows.
Nice to have
- HIPAA or healthcare security/privacy experience.
- Experience implementing governance for AI or ML/LLM systems (evals, monitoring, release gates).
- Vendor risk and procurement coordination experience.
- Comfort owning enablement/training programs for non-technical audiences.
