Forward Deployed Engineer (AI/Python): Building and deploying Generative AI Agents and plugins using the Ask Sage platform to automate government and commercial business processes with an accent on prompt engineering, secure coding, and customer-facing integration. Location: United States. Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance and work from customer locations on an as-needed basis.

What you will do

• Collaborate with key decision-makers to identify business process automation opportunities using Generative AI.
• Architect, develop, and maintain Generative AI Agents and plugins using Python and related frameworks.
• Embed with customers to provide technical leadership from initial concept to production deployment.
• Implement secure coding practices and performance optimizations to meet government and commercial standards.
• Develop innovative full-stack features within the Ask Sage platform to enhance customer impact.
• Stay current with advancements in Generative AI and Python development to drive platform evolution.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of software engineering experience, with strong proficiency in Python.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• At least 1 year of practical experience building automation and agents with Generative AI.
• Expertise in prompt engineering and secure solutions on cloud infrastructures.
• Must be able to work from customer locations as needed and travel to meet objectives.
• Strong project management skills to own end-to-end execution.

Nice to have

• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of government compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST AI RMF, CMMC 2.0).
