What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mechanical engineers, setting priorities and managing workload to support project timelines.
• Own the mechanical design of stationary and mobile power generation packages from concept through production release.
• Direct the development of mechanical layouts, fabricated assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks.
• Implement design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and partner cross-functionally with production, supply chain, and quality teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes and standards, including NFPA, UL, NEC, ASME, and ISO 8528.
• Manage engineering schedules, deliverables, and resource allocation to meet customer commitments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably within power generation or mobile equipment packaging.
• Prior experience leading, mentoring, or supervising engineering teams.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, including design, detailing, and production drawings, as well as GD&T and structural design.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Oracle.
