What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of engineers focused on developer platform and experience initiatives.
• Own and prioritize the technical roadmap, including IDP, IaC, CI/CD, and observability tooling.
• Partner with architecture and product leadership to align platform strategy with business goals.
• Contribute hands-on through coding, architecture design, and PR reviews.
• Promote the adoption of AI-assisted development tools and establish productivity metrics like DORA.
• Conduct performance reviews, career planning, and hiring to build a high-performing team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of direct people management or technical leadership experience.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET, Azure, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Strong architectural decision-making skills at the team or platform level.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agentic developer workflows.
• Knowledge of observability platforms like OpenTelemetry, Application Insights, or Datadog.
• Experience leading CI/CD platform migrations.
• Background in technical evangelism or open-source contribution.
