Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

Location: Remote - United States

Base salary: $190,000–$267,000 USD per year, plus potential equity and commission depending on the position offered.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain user-facing product features for community builders.
• Ensure frontend systems meet performance, security, reliability, and scalability requirements.
• Contribute across the full development cycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver high-quality products.
• Define engineering standards, improve developer workflows, review code and design documents, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative or computer science-related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of software development experience in frontend-focused programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or ES6.
• Experience with a frontend web framework such as Lit, Polymer, React, Vue, or Angular, along with CSS.
• Ability to take end-to-end ownership of projects from initial design through deployment and maintenance.
• Strong communication, collaboration, self-direction, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, or Thrift basics.
• Ability to design and implement maintainable APIs.
