Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in the UK (Remote or hybrid from London office).

What you will do

• Drive the design and implementation of high-performance backends for ad creative generation.
• Lead the development of end-to-end image and video editing engines with automated brand guideline adherence.
• Architect infrastructure that bridges ad performance data with creative generation flywheels.
• Solve complex engineering challenges regarding high-concurrency inference, latency, and cost-efficient scaling.
• Design and maintain mission-critical middleware for content filtering and safety compliance.
• Partner with Product, UX, and Ads ML leadership to define technical roadmaps and integrate solutions into the Ad Manager stack.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK.
• Extensive experience architecting and scaling distributed backend systems using Python or Go.
• Strong experience bridging the gap between ML models and production software.
• Proven track record of designing resilient microservices and APIs.
• Deep understanding of model serving, data pipelines for LLMs/VLMs, and real-time generative workflows.
• Experience building complex asset-heavy systems like automated image/video processing pipelines.
