Associate Systems Engineer (MSP)

TL;DR

Associate Systems Engineer (MSP): Supporting client environments and end users while assisting with implementation projects with an accent on first-level technical support and equipment configuration. Focus on decreasing time to resolution, resolving Mac OS/Windows issues, and maintaining operational documentation.

Location: Remote (United States), though some on-site visits to clients may be required.

Salary: $50,000 – $65,000

What you will do

• Perform remote and on-site fixes at the desktop level, including software upgrades and system configuration.
• Provide first-line service desk troubleshooting for Mac OS and Windows environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for Apple, Google for Work, Cisco Meraki, and Dropbox.
• Implement and maintain operational documentation and procedures.
• Manage daily time entry and ticket updates within the ticketing platform.
• Deliver Professional Services SOW and execute client onboarding activities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience at an MSP, service desk, or corporate IT environment.
• Proficiency with Apple hardware, Mac OS, Google Workspace, Windows, Office 365, Intune, and JAMF.
• Experience managing Windows OS Workstation/Server security, group policies, and patches.
• Experience with cloud storage and remote connectivity solutions.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Ability to be on-call and work after-hours as necessary.

Nice to have

• Technical Certifications: Microsoft, Cisco, VMWare, JAMF, SonicWALL, Fortinet, or CompTIA A+/Network+.
• Familiarity with ConnectWise Automate or similar RMM solutions.
