What you will do

• Lead daily operations of the lamination and composite manufacturing department, managing supervisors and technicians.
• Oversee vacuum infusion, fiberglass lamination, composite layup, and structural bonding operations.
• Manage production schedules and workforce planning to meet delivery commitments and quality standards.
• Partner with Engineering and Product Development to optimize composite designs for new USV platforms.
• Coordinate procurement and inventory for resins, fiberglass, core materials, and consumables.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, throughput, and waste reduction.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in composite, marine, or aerospace manufacturing.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing composite or lamination teams in production.
• Deep knowledge of vacuum infusion processes, resin systems, and mold maintenance.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence is required (ITAR/EAR compliance).
• Ability to work onsite in Valdosta, GA.
• Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with Engineering and Quality teams.

Nice to have

• Experience building military, autonomous, or high-performance composite vessels.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and production tracking software.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S methodologies.
