What you will do

• Lead powder processing operations and ensure Process Safety Management (PSM) systems are effective.
• Manage chemical processing activities including blending, drying, and milling of energetic materials.
• Ensure compliance with BATF, DOD, DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations.
• Implement statistical process improvements using Design of Experiments (DOE) and process capability analysis.
• Drive the adoption of automation, digital manufacturing, and AI-enabled analytics to improve safety and quality.
• Mentor and develop process engineering and technician teams to strengthen organizational capability.

Requirements

• BS in Chemical Engineering strongly preferred.
• 10–15+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing or related process industries.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in chemical processing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Process Safety Management (PSM) leadership.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to U.S. Government contractual requirements and ITAR regulations.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as Minitab or JMP.

Nice to have

• MS in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• Experience with military ordnance, pyrotechnics, or pharmaceutical process operations.
