Oncology Nurse Navigator

Location: Remote within the lower 48 United States. Shifts are 8:30 AM–5 PM EST or 11:30 AM–8 PM EST.

Pay: $41.54/hour.

What you will do

• Provide phone- and email-based triage, clinical support, education, and longitudinal care coordination throughout the oncology care continuum.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, monitor member health, manage symptoms, and address urgent clinical escalations.
• Coordinate nutritional support, discharge planning, provider referrals, and end-of-life care discussions.
• Build trusting relationships with members, caregivers, oncology providers, primary care providers, payers, and internal care teams.
• Participate in case conferences and collaborate with Nurse leaders and Medical Directors on care plans and clinical protocols.
• Address social determinants of health, including food resources and transportation access.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted compact Registered Nurse license required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or BSN required; BSN preferred.
• At least 5 years of nursing experience, including 3 years in solid tumor oncology nursing.
• Oncology-related certification such as OCN, AOCN, AOCNS, or CCM required, or must be obtained within 2 years of hire.
• Must be located within the lower 48 United States due to contractual limitations on accessing protected health information.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, organization, adaptability, and member-focused care skills required.

Nice to have

• Compact or single-state nursing licensure in New York and/or Illinois.
• Fluency in Spanish, written and verbal.
