Senior Medical Science Liaison (Oncology)

Location: Remote - Ohio; field-based coverage of North Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, primarily Cleveland, Toledo, and Pittsburgh. Travel up to 50% is required.

What you will do

• Support sales and commercial teams as a regional scientific expert on oncology assays and technologies.
• Build scientific and clinical exchange with oncology key opinion leaders and physicians.
• Deliver in-person and virtual education on oncology products to healthcare providers.
• Provide scientific education for internal stakeholders in collaboration with Learning & Development.
• Attend conferences, summarize high-impact research presentations, and share medical knowledge and market intelligence internally.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific or medical degree such as PhD, PharmD, MD, or MSN.
• Strong understanding of molecular oncology, cancer biology, oncology patient-management algorithms, and genomic laboratory-developed testing.
• Existing oncology KOL relationships and the ability to communicate scientific topics effectively in public presentations.
• Strong interpersonal, interdepartmental management, education, and training skills.
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to deliver on tight timelines.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and support the North Ohio or Western Pennsylvania territory.

Nice to have

• At least 1 year of Medical Science Liaison experience in diagnostics, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Familiarity with CLIA-88, CAP, and the Sunshine Act.
• Basic understanding of molecular testing.
