What you will do
- Conduct fraud investigations to determine merits and collection likelihood for assigned cases.
- Utilize electronic databases like CLEAR, LexisNexis, and PACER to locate witnesses and develop documentary evidence.
- Prepare interim and final reports for AUSAs to support intervention, settlement, and litigation decisions.
- Participate in witness interviews and draft detailed interview memoranda.
- Analyze voluminous electronic records, including financial, medical, and claims data.
- Coordinate investigation efforts with federal agencies such as the FBI, DEA, and HHS-OIG.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in fraud investigations or a similar role.
- Must be a United States Citizen.
- Ability to work onsite full-time in Hammond, IN.
- Ability to pass a background check to obtain security clearance.
