Location: Remote (Must be based in the US and be a US citizen)

What you will do

• Lead the design and execution of rigorous applied research and evidence-driven technical assistance projects.
• Write reports and presentations that interpret evidence for practitioners and policymakers.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative methods to collect, manage, analyze, and interpret data.
• Translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for client reports.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client relationships for workstreams of increased complexity.
• Engage with stakeholders and partners through meetings, briefings, and dissemination activities.

Requirements

• PhD in Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Public Policy, or related field (3+ years exp) OR Master's degree (7+ years exp).
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Experience designing and leading applied research studies for state or local education agencies.
• Expertise in PreK–12 topic areas such as school improvement, accountability, literacy, or numeracy.
• Proficiency in at least one statistical or qualitative analysis tool (e.g., R, Stata, Python, NVivo, Dedoose).
• Experience providing coaching or technical assistance to education leaders.
