What you will do
- Manage project scope, schedules, and costs to ensure delivery according to plan and Service Level Agreements.
- Coordinate initiatives across multiple matrixed teams and external clients to align stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and perform corrective actions based on performance metrics.
- Gather detailed customer requirements and constraints using techniques like brainstorming and focus groups.
- Establish project organizational structures, defining clear roles and responsibilities.
- Mentor and lead junior Technical Project Managers to improve team performance and cohesiveness.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work from Alpharetta (GA), Bridgewater (NJ), Greenwich (CT), or Topeka (KS).
- 10-15 years of total technology experience and 5+ years of Project Management experience.
- Proven ability to manage projects using Waterfall, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
- Proficiency with project management tools including Jira, MS Visio, SharePoint, and Excel.
- Experience with the full software development life cycle (SDLC) and third-party system support.
- Ability to travel a minimum of 10% of the time.
Nice to have
- PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or CSM certifications.
- 2-4 years of experience working specifically in an Agile environment.
- Direct experience with insurance or financial services platforms (annuities and life products).
