Solar Regional Manager (Energy)

Location: Remote; must reside within and work from the assigned territory/region in the USA

Salary: $140,000 – $190,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead the operational performance, safety, and reliability of assigned wind and solar assets.
• Establish and execute standardized operating procedures and risk management frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset efficiency, output, and profitability.
• Oversee Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Maintenance Management Systems.
• Manage and negotiate operational contracts, including service agreements and vendor relationships.
• Coach and develop direct reports while designing the operations organization to support growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in operations leadership within the utility or energy industry.
• Demonstrated experience managing geographically dispersed assets and outage management.
• Experience with wind, solar, geothermal, or gas generation technologies.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; will not sponsor non-immigrant visas (H-1B, TN, E-3, etc.).
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of wind turbine platforms and OEM relationships.
• Prior experience working with or for OEMs.
