TL;DR

Senior Technical Analyst (Fintech): Executing brokerage risk management programs and technical risk assessments with an accent on risk intelligence, governance, and automation. Focus on orchestrating end-to-end technical risk assessments, managing issue governance, and implementing AI-assisted workflows to streamline controls.

Location: Hybrid in Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Lake Mary, FL, or New York, NY; in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

Salary: $99,000 - $150,000 (base pay varies by location zone)

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end technical risk assessments, coordinating with senior engineers and managing launch sign-offs.
  • Manage the Issue Management Program, including triage, escalation, reporting, and governance meetings.
  • Maintain GRC system administration and synthesize complex risk data into actionable leadership materials.
  • Drive accountability for issue owners across the organization and build credibility with Engineering Managers.
  • Support automation goals to streamline processes and implement real-time controls in embedded workflows.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in risk management, fintech, or broker-dealer fields.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL and Python scripting.
  • Experience developing dashboards (e.g., Superset, Jira) and familiarity with data pipeline concepts.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and progressive deployment.
  • Experience with AI-assisted risk tooling, prompt engineering, or agentic workflows.
  • Regulatory awareness relevant to brokerage operations (e.g., FINRA, SEC, CFTC).
