Junior Accountant (Fintech)

What you will do

• Accurately review and process vendor invoices and manage internal approval requests for Accounts Payable.
• Record payroll, prepaid expenses, depreciation, and other recurring journal entries.
• Perform monthly reconciliations to maintain clean and accurate financial books.
• Import and categorize expenses across various accounts.
• Support the Finance team with month-end close activities, reporting, and tax support.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve or automate operational workflows.

Requirements

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Accounting.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP), including accruals and prepaids.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for daily use.
• English proficiency is a must.
• Must be based in LATAM with 5–6 hours of overlap with Eastern Time.

Nice to have

• Experience with accounting tools like QuickBooks.
• Previous experience with invoice processing, reconciliations, or month-end close.
