General Accountant (Finance)

What you will do

• Manage daily accounting operations, including purchases, sales, and bank transactions.
• Perform account reconciliations and support AR/AP processes.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures and prepare balance sheets.
• Prepare and submit VAT and income tax returns within deadlines.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Optimize accounting processes and tools to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance (DCG, DSCG, Master’s or equivalent).
• 3 to 5 years of experience in general accounting, ideally in a scale-up environment.
• Strong knowledge of French accounting standards (PCG).
• Fluent in French and comfortable communicating in English.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Odoo or Pennylane.
• Proactive mindset regarding the use of AI tools.
