TL;DR

Readiness Advocate (BenOps): Training and onboarding new hires for Benefits Operations with an accent on coaching, performance tracking, and knowledge transfer. Focus on building e-learning tools, developing readiness criteria, and bridging the gap between training and production.

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per week) in Denver, San Francisco, New York, or Scottsdale

Salary: $75,000 – $110,000 per year

What you will do

  • Coach new hires through live practice, reverse shadowing, and 1:1s to accelerate their growth.
  • Act as the functional authority for readiness standards in OA, Fulfillment, or Advising.
  • Develop tools including run-of-show docs, facilitator guides, and rubrics to maintain consistency.
  • Analyze quality scores and throughput data to make evidence-based readiness decisions.
  • Collaborate with CX L&D leadership to refine ramp models and readiness criteria.
  • Build e-learning, microlearning, and in-the-flow job aids during lower-volume periods.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in BenOps, L&D, or a related operational training function.
  • Deep expertise in OA, Advising, or Fulfillment domains.
  • Proven track record of coaching, mentoring, or training others.
  • Strong written communication skills for creating guides and documentation.
  • Ability to provide clear, honest feedback and exercise good judgment on learner readiness.
  • Must be based in or near Denver, San Francisco, New York, or Scottsdale.

Nice to have

  • Experience in coaching, facilitation, or onboarding roles.
  • Familiarity with BenOps tools like Salesforce, Hippo, NBA, or telephony.
  • Experience building content in LMS platforms, slides, or knowledge bases.
