What you will do

• Lead the device standards strategy within 3GPP to influence industry innovation and improve customer experience.
• Own the end-to-end roadmap of device capabilities, ensuring alignment with network strategy and deployment plans.
• Define and maintain UE parameters for multiple RATs, including carrier aggregation, VoLTE, VoNR, RedCap, and NTN.
• Analyze modem logs and provide end-to-end technical guidance across various organizational functions.
• Collaborate with OEMs, chipset vendors, and OS partners to identify gaps and secure delivery timelines.
• Translate 3GPP standards and strategic roadmaps into clear, testable UE requirements and acceptance criteria.

Requirements

• Deep technical expertise in 5G SA/NSA, LTE, VoNR, VoLTE, VoWiFi, and NTN.
• Strong hands-on experience with platform tracing and diagnostic tools such as QXDM, STT, ELT, and Accuver.
• Proven experience in integration, validation, and troubleshooting of mobile devices.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with mobile device OEMs and chipset vendors.
• Strong technical writing skills for producing executive-level summaries and technical specifications.
• Must be based in or able to work from Borehamwood or Warwick, UK.
