What you will do

• Lead and manage the EMEA Network Operations team, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure high availability and performance of trading network infrastructure across exchanges, colocation sites, and data centers.
• Oversee 24x7 proactive monitoring, incident response, and escalation management in a high-pressure trading environment.
• Partner with engineering, implementation, and automation teams to deliver new services and operational improvements.
• Maintain compliance with critical regulatory and security standards, including SOC 2, ISO, and MiFID II.
• Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and exchanges to ensure service quality and SLA adherence.

Requirements

• Must be based in London (Hybrid).
• 10+ years of overall networking experience, with at least 5 years in senior operational roles within financial services or mission-critical industries.
• Minimum 3 years of direct experience leading a network operations/NOC team, including people management and on-call ownership.
• Expertise in high-performance networking (routing, switching, optical transport); CCIE level experience is highly desired.
• Hands-on experience with packet capture and analysis using Corvil Analytics or equivalent tools.
• Proficiency with Arista, Cisco, and Fortinet platforms.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with automation, scripting, and modern monitoring practices.
• Strong knowledge of trading venue connectivity and colocation ecosystems.
