• Design and deliver large-scale, real-time systems with a focus on scalability and operability.
• Collaborate with product management and data engineering teams to build end-to-end solutions.
• Review technical designs and code changes to maintain high engineering standards.
• Proactively identify and address technical debt within the platform.
• Utilize monitoring and observability tools to ensure system reliability and respond to incidents.
• Mentor and coach team members to elevate the technical capabilities of the team.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Significant experience in software development with modern programming languages and functional programming styles.
• Proven track record of leading large, ambiguous projects from design to delivery.
• Strong expertise in software design, architecture, and building distributed systems or public-facing APIs.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Fluency in using modern AI development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
