Data Analyst (Fintech)

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Perform high-quality data analysis using Excel, SQL, and other programming languages to support clients and internal stakeholders.
• Act as the primary data expert for use cases involving the hirify.global database.
• Contribute to research and analysis across private equity, M&A, venture capital, and emerging technology sectors.
• Manage and fulfill time-sensitive custom research requests for subscribing clients.
• Collaborate with editorial teams to provide data for blog posts, graphics, and newsletters.
• Respond to data inquiries from clients, press, and the general public.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in financial services or working with large datasets.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts including valuation techniques (DCF, comps), IRR, and asset allocations.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with SQL and Python is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
