Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

What you will do

• Analyze finalized ranking data to uncover key movements, score drivers, and comparative performance trends.
• Develop 5–10 differentiated, data-backed insights per list cycle to highlight unique annual findings.
• Create structured insight briefs and cheat sheets to guide editorial reporting and marketing narratives.
• Partner with Editorial, Accolades, and Marketing teams to ensure list launches are supported by compelling, data-grounded storytelling.
• Maintain documentation on ranking trends to ensure consistency and defensibility of insights.
• Contribute to business-facing reports that leverage list data for client engagement and revenue-generating outreach.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in research, analytics, strategy, business intelligence, or data journalism.
• Must reside in one of the specified US states (CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ME, MD, MA, NJ, NY, NC, PA, SC, TN, TX, WA).
• Advanced proficiency in analyzing large, structured datasets and identifying anomalies.
• Experience with business intelligence tools and interpreting survey data.
• Strong ability to translate quantitative findings into clear, concise narrative summaries.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills to align data insights with editorial and commercial goals.
