Vice President (Asset Management)

What you will do

• Oversee alternative investment transaction booking, payment approvals, and capital call execution.
• Serve as the primary operations liaison across Controllers, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Investment teams.
• Lead the identification, escalation, and resolution of complex operational risk events.
• Coach and mentor junior team members to ensure high standards of documentation and execution.
• Drive operational readiness for new fund launches, restructurings, and complex transactions.
• Represent operations in senior leadership forums and translate complex issues into decision-ready summaries.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in financial services or asset management operations.
• Strong industry knowledge of alternative investment products and private fund structures.
• Solid foundation in accounting principles with experience in financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Must be based in Salt Lake City, UT.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for senior stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with USGAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
• Experience with fund administrators and auditors.
