TL;DR

Location: Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite (USA). Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

What you will do

  • Partner with finance leadership to establish, automate, and scale internal tax processes as the company expands globally.
  • Act as the primary project manager for external tax advisors regarding federal, state, and international tax returns.
  • Own the quarter-end and annual tax provision process (ASC 740), including journal entries and flux analyses.
  • Manage responses to tax audits and notices, gathering documentation and resolving inquiries.
  • Lead research and execution on R&D tax credits, international expansion, transfer pricing, and state nexus evaluation.
  • Identify manual bottlenecks and implement modern, scalable software or workflow solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA license is required.
  • 3–5 years of progressive tax experience (Public accounting/Big 4 experience highly preferred).
  • Solid foundational understanding of ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes).
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Taxation.
  • Experience in the SaaS industry.
  • Experience with international tax issues.
