Salary: $60,000–$85,000

What you will do
- Frame and communicate key data use policy issues at district, state, and federal levels.
- Manage and update the organization's website, including content publishing and basic SEO.
- Execute email marketing via Mailchimp, including newsletter design and performance tracking.
- Develop and implement a social media strategy across LinkedIn and Bluesky.
- Create shareable graphics and short videos using Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools.
- Identify and integrate AI tools to optimize communication goals.
Requirements
- Must be based in Washington, DC or be willing to relocate.
- Associate: Minimum 5 years of combined education and professional experience.
- Senior Associate: Minimum 8 years of combined experience, with at least one year directly related to communications.
- Excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven record of supporting external communications, particularly via digital and social media.
- Ability to travel occasionally for organization needs.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in WordPress.
- Experience with video editing platforms to create short, impactful videos.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Canva, or other graphic design platforms.
