What you will do

• Manage full product lifecycle from early concept through production, including design, prototyping, and testing.
• Develop electromechanical systems integrating motors, sensors, actuators, PCBs, and controls.
• Build hands-on prototypes using in-house lab tools and rapid prototyping methods.
• Perform root-cause analysis to troubleshoot mechanical and system-level issues.
• Translate product requirements into detailed CAD models, drawings, and specifications.
• Collaborate with EE, ID, and NPD teams to run design validation and DFM/DFA reviews.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in product development or R&D.
• Hands-on prototyping experience with physical hardware.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD such as SolidWorks, Creo, or NX.
• Solid grasp of electromechanical systems, including motors and gearing.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with consumer products or high-volume manufacturing.
• Proficiency in rapid prototyping methods like 3D printing and machining.
• Experience with FEA/CFD simulation tools.
