IT Manager (Robotics)

Location: Hybrid: 3 to 5 days in the New York office

Salary: $115,000–$140,000 + 10% discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Lead end-user support, onboarding, and offboarding for the team.
• Manage the full hardware lifecycle, procurement, and endpoint security for a primarily Mac fleet using MDM tools.
• Administer core company-wide systems including Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, and HRIS.
• Own the SOC 2 Type 2 compliance program, including evidence collection and audit partnering.
• Manage IT vendors, SaaS provider relationships, and the overall IT budget.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams on identity changes and security reviews.

Requirements

• 3+ years of IT experience in a startup or small company (under 200 people).
• Proven ability to operate as a team of one and prioritize independently.
• Hands-on experience with Mac fleet management (JAMF, Kandji), Google Workspace, Slack, and identity providers (Okta).
• Direct experience contributing to a SOC 2 Type 2 audit cycle.
• Must be based in the NYC Metro Area for hybrid office attendance.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Light scripting skills in Python, Bash, or AppleScript for automation.
• Prior experience in hardware, robotics, or consumer technology companies.
