What you will do

• Drive end-to-end delivery of advanced battery systems from concept and feasibility through launch.
• Bridge sourcing, hardware, firmware, software, product, and manufacturing teams to resolve conflicts and ensure execution.
• Build and maintain schedules, map dependencies, and proactively manage risks and roadblocks.
• Oversee integration between battery supplier deliverables and internal product development needs.
• Ensure battery performance, reliability, safety standards, and global compliance across all markets.
• Establish best practices for battery program execution and mentor senior team members.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in NPI Hardware development build and test cycles.
• Proven track record shipping products with custom battery systems, preferably in the wearables sector.
• Strong technical depth in battery technologies and power system architecture.
• Knowledge of battery test methodology at both cell and system levels.
• Experience authoring requirements and acceptance criteria with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Must be based in San Francisco, California (certain US states are excluded).

Nice to have

• Experience with global battery suppliers, contract manufacturers, and supply chains.
• Proficiency with advanced PM tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
