What you will do

• Own outcomes by identifying high-impact problems in guest communication and deciding how to solve them using AI.
• Develop multi-agent systems featuring tool calling and handoffs to handle complex real-world workflows.
• Ship features rapidly from idea to production, measuring success by customer impact.
• Collaborate directly with the Co-founder and CTO to rethink platform interaction.
• Maintain and optimize a tech stack consisting of Kotlin/Java, AWS, Kubernetes, and various databases.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of backend development experience.
• Proven track record of shipping end-to-end features in production environments.
• Strong product instincts and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
• Genuine fluency with AI coding tools like Claude Code as part of the development process.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, preferably with experience in Kotlin.
• Must be based in or able to work from Munich, Germany (50% in-office requirement).
