What you will do
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, inventory, deployment, tracking, and disposal.
- Maintain accurate asset inventories using NIH systems such as NBS Sunflower and NPMP.
- Conduct regular inventory audits, physical asset verifications, and reconciliations.
- Track software licenses and ensure compliance with all licensing agreements.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and ISSO teams to maintain asset visibility and security compliance.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for asset and property management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5+ years of experience in IT asset management or property management.
- Experience with IT inventory and asset tracking systems (e.g., ServiceNow, CMDB tools).
- Knowledge of federal property management regulations and standards.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and SharePoint.
Nice to have
- Experience working within federal agencies, specifically NIH or HHS environments.
- Certifications such as CITAM, ITIL Foundation, or Certified Property Manager (CPM).
- Experience with Software Asset Management (SAM) tools and practices.
- Knowledge of FISMA and asset-related cybersecurity requirements.
