TL;DR

Location: Onsite in Penns Park, PA

Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year

What you will do

  • Conduct forensic investigations of vehicle crashes, slip/trip/fall incidents, and mechanical failures.
  • Lead investigations of construction and industrial workplace accidents based on safety principles and biomechanics.
  • Perform biomechanical injury analyses to determine forces, motions, and tolerances involved in accidents.
  • Evaluate human factors and ergonomics of products, environments, and systems to reduce human error.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and provide expert testimony during depositions and trials.
  • Conduct static and dynamic testing related to material performance and human response.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. degree required in Human Factors, Biomechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in human factors, ergonomics, biomechanics, or safety engineering.
  • Strong foundation in injury biomechanics, human performance, and occupational safety analysis.
  • Proficiency with 2D and 3D motion analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare technical documentation and present findings to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

  • Certified Human Factors Professional (CHFP) or equivalent credential.
  • Experience in occupant kinematics and injury tolerance evaluation.
  • Expertise in ergonomic design and workplace safety consulting.
