What you will do

• Perform incoming, periodic, and preventive maintenance inspections on medical equipment.
• Install, calibrate, and test devices according to manufacturer specifications and department authorization.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to identify and resolve defects.
• Manage medical equipment inventory and assets following VA standards.
• Document all maintenance and inspection activities within the VA electronic system.
• Provide training to staff on proper equipment use and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of hospital or healthcare experience in medical equipment maintenance.
• Associate degree or higher in an applied science or equivalent military training.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination.
• Demonstrated competency in operational verification, repair, and maintenance of medical devices.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and ISO standards.
