What you will do
- Lead and develop the Japan Account Management team, evaluating performance against strategic goals of client satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee a strategic account portfolio to maximize product usage and drive ongoing client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Sales, Implementation, Finance, Product Management, and Engineering teams to ensure world-class customer service.
- Manage all billing processes and provide guidance on complex billing situations.
- Act as the primary escalation point for the AM and Sales teams regarding churn potential or client dissatisfaction.
- Ensure local market nuances and client requirements are reflected in product development and operational processes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of overall work experience with at least 4+ years of direct team management.
- Comprehensive understanding of the online media marketplace and experience with Ad Serving technology.
- Experience managing online media products, including creative trafficking and campaign management.
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English communication skills.
- Must be based in Tokyo and available to work from the office at least 3 days per week.
- Exceptional command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
