Location: Remote. Must have legal authorization to work in Romania without employer sponsorship.

What you will do

  • Handle end-to-end payroll processing for Romania and EMEA territories, including preparation, tax filing, and post-payroll activities.
  • Manage relationships and coordination with outsourced payroll providers to ensure a smooth monthly process.
  • Review data feeds from HR systems to ensure consistency and accuracy across payroll records.
  • Generate detailed payroll and benefits reports for HR and Finance departments.
  • Maintain and update the internal Payroll Procedures manual, documenting new and improved processes.
  • Ensure all ERS/EES Pension contributions and government payments are calculated and reported timely.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Fluency in both Romanian and English.
  • Legal authorization to work in Romania.
  • Strong knowledge of EMEA payroll laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivots, lookups) and experience with financial systems.
  • Experience with SAP HRIS, ADP Streamline, or IQHR.
