What you will do

• Lead high-impact fraud investigations across publishers and traffic sources to identify sophisticated schemes like attribution manipulation and lead fraud.
• Conduct in-depth risk assessments of publisher business models and performance models (CPA, CPC).
• Perform advanced data analysis using SQL and Power BI to build repeatable fraud detection frameworks.
• Develop and enhance fraud detection methodologies, integrating rule-based systems and AI/ML-assisted detection.
• Analyze affiliate tracking mechanisms, including cookie-based and server-side tracking, to recommend mitigation strategies.
• Act as a subject matter expert and advisor to internal stakeholders and advertisers on risk mitigation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, fraud prevention, adtech, or risk/compliance roles.
• Hands-on experience with affiliate fraud detection and knowledge of evolving fraud tactics.
• Deep understanding of performance-based marketing models (CPA, CPC) and attribution logic.
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• English: C1+ level proficiency required.
• Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and identify non-obvious patterns of abuse.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts applied to fraud detection.
• Additional language skills, such as German.
• Experience with workflow systems like Salesforce, Zendesk, or Asana.
