What you will do

• Own the end-to-end tax product roadmap, including IRS reporting and compliance processes.
• Define product timelines, quality gates, and acceptance criteria for accurate tax filings.
• Manage relationships with external tax technology and data vendors to ensure SLA adherence.
• Coordinate the cross-functional tax season calendar across Engineering, Operations, and Compliance teams.
• Design monitoring dashboards and internal tools for real-time visibility into tax reporting status.
• Partner with engineering to design upstream data flows that support accurate tax reporting.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Product Management or Technical Program Management within fintech or brokerage.
• Deep knowledge of US brokerage tax reporting, including 1099 forms and IRS requirements.
• Hands-on experience managing at least one full tax season in a broker-dealer or clearing environment.
• Technical fluency with data systems, file formats, and reconciliation processes.
