Product Owner (Fintech)

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Toronto, Canada, or Madrid, Spain (Hybrid: 3 days in office)

What you will do

• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define requirements and business value for service-based projects.
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to facilitate efficient Sprint Planning.
• Accept User Stories based on established acceptance criteria and Definition of Done.
• Contribute to the Product Roadmap and participate in Program Increment (PI) planning.
• Ensure product documentation and collateral are accurate and follow corporate standards.
• Represent the voice of the customer within the cross-functional Product Team.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Owner in an Agile software development environment.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Demonstrable understanding of Agile product management principles and Scrum.
• Working knowledge of Atlassian suite (Jira & Confluence), SQL, and APIs.
• Experience using AI tools for creating product artifacts.
• Business or technical degree.

Nice to have

• Experience in WealthTech, FinTech, or Enterprise software.
• CSPO certification.
• Experience working in a professional services organization.
• Knowledge of wealth management services and investment processes.
