What you will do
- Identify, research, and book meetings with qualified SMB and lower mid-market prospects.
- Build targeted lead lists using tools such as Apollo, LinkedIn, and company websites.
- Execute high-volume outbound campaigns via personalized cold emails and daily cold calls.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to test and refine messaging across different industries and buyer personas.
- Track all activity, responses, and market learnings within the CRM.
- Provide direct feedback to the team on market responses and prospect needs.
Requirements
- 9+ months of BDR, SDR, or outbound sales experience.
- Must be based in New York City and able to work in person.
- Experience selling into SMBs is strongly preferred.
- Strong written communication skills and comfort making daily cold calls.
- High energy, resilience, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Curiosity about AI, startups, and the sales process.
Nice to have
- Experience selling SaaS, AI, telecom, CRM, or customer support software.
- Proficiency with tools like Apollo, HubSpot, Salesforce, Instantly, Smartlead, or Clay.
- Proven success in booking meetings through cold outreach.
- Experience prospecting into property management, healthcare, home services, or retail.
