Location: Hybrid in Austin, Chicago, DC, or NYC. In-office attendance is required on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Salary: $179,000 – $195,000

What you will do

• Own and steward the R&D Operating Blueprint, ensuring it evolves with the organization.
• Lead operating rhythm design, including forum structures, cadence changes, and post-mortems.
• Serve as the internal expert on AI-native process design to build systems instead of static documents.
• Provide architectural coherence across all R&D levels, from pod to hive to org.
• Coach team members on the implementation of the operating model and provide guidance on craft.

Requirements

• Deep experience in program management, organizational design, or operating model work.
• Strong perspective on how AI changes organizational dynamics and decision-making bottlenecks.
• Proven ability to design and implement operating models within technical organizations.
• Ability to influence without authority through craft, accessibility, and credibility.
• Capability to make complex systems thinking legible to skeptical, busy audiences.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Austin, Chicago, DC, or NYC offices.
