What you will do

• Design and implement cutting-edge core systems to provide new functionality or improve existing code efficiency.
• Research and push the technical limits of what the game engine can accomplish.
• Collaborate with engineers and content creators on technical design and feature rollout.
• Support memory budgeting, perform deep performance analysis, and execute optimization work.
• Review the work of other engineers and provide technical mentorship.

Requirements

• 12+ years of systems or engine development experience.
• Significant contribution to the development of one or more shipped games.
• Deep knowledge of C++ programming and industry practices.
• Experience architecting and debugging threaded systems.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance analysis skills.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to the USA.

Nice to have

• Strong 3D math and algebra skills.
• Experience contributing to a bespoke internal game engine.
• Knowledge of asset pipelines, runtime memory, and streaming technology.
• Experience with game networking techniques.
• Experience with multi-platform development (PC, Xbox, PlayStation).
